Team Up

At the Cheshire Center, we structure our therapies to effectively meet client needs. The client, parents, caregivers, and professionals work as a team to analyze specific needs and create an environment that reinforces the skills learned during therapy. Through observation, insights are gained and shared with a team of care providers in order to enhance positives for the successful achievement of goals.

Customized Programs for Each Client

Each child is assigned to a team of professionals. A specialist maintains primary responsibility for each child’s progress while a clinical supervisor oversees the treatment process. Along with input from the clinical director, team members customize a program for each client. This results in continuity of treatment with valuable team support. Physicians also stay informed through regular communication with therapy staff and reporting of all relevant information. Cheshire allows scheduling flexibility so that therapists can maximize their effectiveness. Clients will have access to the knowledge and experience that our team approach represents. Clients also have quick access to a professional who is familiar with their child at all times.

Licensed and Experienced Staff

Each member of the professional staff at Cheshire Center is a state licensed and certified specialist working within their chosen field. As nationally certified therapists, our experience is regularly reinforced through continuing education, training, and participation with professional organizations. Active involvement in the professional community joined with a commitment from the heart enables Cheshire professionals to offer the highest quality of services possible.

Community Centered

We believe that the most effective therapy occurs in a client’s own community where learned skills will be used. The professionals of Cheshire Center travel to daycare centers, homes, public schools, and private schools to provide services in familiar surroundings for client convenience. We will also see clients at our clinical center.
