Finding out your child may have a speech delay can be overwhelming and frustrating. Fears of the unknown and what steps to take next are common. You may hear people say that children each develop differently but you are unsure if you should really be concerned or if you need to seek help. You are at the right place.
We are Cheshire Center, a private pediatric speech therapy practice that offers Speech and Language evaluations and specialized therapy services to families and children in the greater Piedmont Triad area.
We meet each client’s unique needs by partnering with you, your family, and significant caregivers in your child’s life. Unlike services in hospitals or rehabilitation facilities, our nationally certified, NC licensed Speech-Language Pathologists work with children in what we call their “natural environment.” Natural environments include homes, daycares, or schools; places where they are most comfortable and able to generalize what they are learning in therapy to familiar settings, daily routines and activities.
Our warm, welcoming office also provides therapy rooms for office appointments upon request. Providing a pediatric speech therapist trained to support you and improve your child’s communication skills is our specialty.
